Everyone who works for the Trust is encouraged to reach the highest standards, and they are supported in a variety of ways:

New workers are given a full and comprehensive induction to the organisation, their workplace and their role within it. |

Everyone who works for the Trust receives regular supervision, support and annual review. |
|
All employees are encouraged to identify their job-related training/development needs and are given opportunity to participate in courses or learning on a regular basis. |
|
The Trust's own learning skills and development department offers a comprehensive in-house training programme, which includes our own approved NVQ assessment centre. |
|
Everyone is encouraged to participate in the organisation's decision-making and communication processes through the Staff Consultation Group, staff newsletter as well as through their team and other groups. |
The Trust's Learning and Skills department have developed a large number of training
courses that cover a range of different aspects relating to the provision of care services,
which has been refined as our staff group has expanded over recent years. Everyone
who works for the Trust is provided with mandatory training to comply with Care
Standards requirements, and is also encouraged to participate in their own continuing
professional development.
